Preparing your pond for winter

Thought id write this post as I have a pond in the garden and each year its always the same, pond freezes over, then spend hours trying to sort it out!!

The above has being the case for a couple of years now, that was until I discovered the

Velda Floating Ice Preventer.

I found it on-line for £9.99, at that price it was a bargain so worth a try.
I ordered it and received it n a couple of days, I set it up and left it to do its job.
Now last year was one of the worst winters in a while so is thought it would never work, not a chance. But low and behold it did, without any issues or problems.

This Ice Preventer from Velda helps to keep a section of your pond ice-free in the winter. This is important as it lets toxic gases escape from the pond when combined with an air pump. The Velda Floating Ice Preventer is a great alternative to a pond heater.

For anybody reading this, don't just take my word, try it out and I bet you will be a happy camper. :)

Getting The Car Repaired

I Had to get some repairs done to my old faithful Fiat Punto a few weeks ago, more specific a new exhaust.
The exhaust was going for a while but I kept putting the repair off, I knew it needed a full exhaust and at first I was going to attempt the job myself but after some thought I decided it would be better getting the professionals in.

I looked all over the internet for mechanics or garages to do the work for the cheapest price possible, I knew it would cost around £125 for the exhaust system then the labour on-top, so looking at a total of £175-£200.

Talking to a friend one day they told me about www.whocanfixmycar.com they said to have a look, that it was a great site to find a mechanic and the parts I needed.

I went on the site and it was so EASY, i cant believe I never came across it before.
I posted the job I needed doing on the car and within a week I had numerous quotes from many mechanics, a great range of prices and times the job could be done.

I went with one mechanic who charged £165 for the job and carried the work out, he arrived on time, was pleasant and polite.
He carried the work out in no time and done a really professional job, and now my Faithful Punto is back on the road and running great.

My honest opinion is that if you need a mechanic then visit www.whocanfixmycar.com for a fast, professional service at great rates!!!

Right now that's done, id like to say its brilliant.
Its quiet, that's a bonus as most are loud and annoying.
So far it seems to be great on electricity, my last one needed its own power station to run it.  It can take a large load, another bonus with having 2 women in the house.
Looks quiet stylish for a dryer, although its a little large but will let it off.
You could say the price is expensive, but i think its well worth it, it has many options which is good, i just need to figure them all out.
Instruction book is simple ans easy to understand.

I could go on and on about it but you will just get bored,
So overall,
Its worth the money, its easy to use and i think its a great buy for any Family.

Hope someone finds this of interest :)

TalkTalk

Were do i start with TalkTalk!

My family and i moved into our new home last month, We phoned TalkTalk to get phone and broadband in the house.
All was fine, we were told our go live date 10th October and that a engineer would call to set up our new line, (Happy Days).
Well NO. Our go live date came, so did the engineer, he installed a new phone socket in our house then told us the line was disconnected on the pole outside. He said he would send someone with a hoist that day to connect it and all would be working. We waited nobody came, the next day we phoned TalkTalk up (let the games begin), they ran line checks the whole works and told us there was no fault!
I explained what the engineer said and they said they will contact openreach and get it sorted, to wait for a text with further info.
Two days later nothing, so i rang again and once again another line check and no fault! Again i explained what the engineer said, but this time i had a foreign man who could not understand me or what i was telling him.
I went round in circles for days with them, after 8 days of no phone, no broadband and over £20 spent on mobile credit they finally got the point and sent a engineer out.
He confirmed it was disconnected outside, after me telling customer services for 8 days this was the case and they never listened, he got a hoist there and then and got it sorted, he also told me the first engineer never reported the fault!!

So to sum it all up TalkTalk customer services are totally useless, they don't listen and really don't care about there customers.
I will be changing providers soon and would never recommend them to anybody.
